Jennifer Lopez Opened The AMAs With An Epic Dance To 2015’s Greatest Hits

The Grammy winning singer kicked off the American Music Awards last night with the intro to her 1999 hit “Waiting For Tonight” but then stopped, insisting coyly that the night “is not about me”
“Tonight is about the music,” she declared, “And this year’s music made me wanna dance.”
J-Lo segued into a routine to recent chart-toppers like “Uptown Funk,” “Anaconda”, “Feeling Myself,” “Can’t Feel My Face” and “Trap Queen.” In a night filled with performances by current chart-toppers like of Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, it was definitely the most memorable.
Lopez kept it fresh throughout the night, changing costumes 10 times as she popped back onstage to introduce a presenter or a performer. She was a warm, welcome presence throughout the awards.
If you missed the performance, make sure to watch below. And if you were lucky enough to catch J-Lo own the stage last night, watch her do it all over again.
